1. Who can join the K.T Health Fund?

Any individual, pregnant mother, family, or company staff can join by choosing a package that suits their needs.

2. How do I subscribe?

Choose a package → Pay on the website/app → Receive your KTHF number/card → Enjoy your benefits immediately.

3. What services does my discount cover?

Your tier discount applies to:

• OPD consultations
• Laboratory tests
• Scans and imaging
• Admissions
• Antenatal care
• Postnatal care
• Normal deliveries
• Pharmacy items (where discount is allowed)

4. What services are NOT included?

The following are excluded from all packages:

• Surgeries
• Specialist consultations (physician, gynecologist, pediatrician, surgeon, etc.)
• Major procedures done by external specialists

5. Are pregnant mothers covered?

Yes. Antenatal packages, antenatal tests & treatments, and normal deliveries are all covered under your active discount tier.

6. How long does my plan last?

Your plan validity depends on what you choose:

• Monthly: 30 days
• Quarterly: 3 months
• Semi-Annual: 6 months
• Annual: 12 months

7. Can I renew online?

Yes. You can renew anytime through the website or mobile app once activated.

8. What if I forget to renew?

Your benefits will stop automatically.
Once you pay again, your membership becomes active immediately.

9. Can I upgrade my tier?

Yes. Upgrading to a higher tier is allowed at any time.

10. Can I register my family members?

Yes. The Family Care Plan covers up to five (5) dependants.
If a family has more than 5 members, they may:

• Add the extra members under a Company/Corporate tier, OR
• Open an additional Family account, OR
• Register the remaining members under individual tiers.

11. Are my payments safe?

Yes.
All payments go directly to official service providers like telecome companies, commercial banks and  incase of any balance to K.T Memorial Hospital accounts and verified merchant codes.
K.T Memorial Hospital has been operating for over 13 years, and the Health Fund was opened under legally binding hospital documents, ensuring full security and transparency.

12. Are membership fees refundable?

No.
All membership fees are non-refundable, whether a client has used services or not.
This ensures fairness and sustainability of the fund for all members.

13. Do I need to present my card every visit?

Yes. Your KTHF number or digital/printed card must be shown before receiving services so the system can apply your benefits correctly.

14. Can my card be used anywhere else?

Yes.
Your K.T Health Fund card can be used at all K.T facilities across Uganda (current and future branches).

15. Can someone else use my card?

No.
Membership is personal.
Only registered dependants can use a Family Plan.

• You may request the actual service prices at any time before receiving care.
• Our official price list is displayed at the reception and published online for public viewing.
• Your printed or digital bill will always show:
• the actual bill amount (what a non-member would pay), and
• the final bill after your K.T Health Fund discount has been applied.
• This allows you to clearly see the exact value of your membership fees.

18. How does K.T Memorial Hospital benefit from the K.T Health Fund?

The purpose of the K.T Health Fund is not for the hospital to profit from membership fees.
The Fund was created to make healthcare affordable and accessible for everyone in our community.

The small membership fees collected are used only to support and maintain the system, including:

·         Bank and merchant processing fees

·         Website and app maintenance

·         Digital membership systems

·         Administrative support
